The Challenge
Our client, a multinational manufacturer of consumer electronics wished
to collect and collate recent shopping experiences from its customer base.
Research questions would be qualitative and the timings were very fast
with a turnaround of only 2 weeks allowed. Feedback was needed form two
markets, Spain and Germany, meaning translations would also be required
for both the input and output.
The Solution
The Research Lounge offered the ideal solution. Respondents were recruited
online very quickly. Topic guides were ready and translated in 2 days.
Fieldwork took place over two days and a total of 12 online groups were
conducted. Transcripts were available immediately in local language and
these were translated and presented to Blauw’s research team within 24hours.
The Conclusion
The client was amazed at the depth of information and the speed of the
response, not to mention the cost saving of around 20% over conventional
focus groups.
